Chopard Chopard Copacabana pendant necklace

This pendant comes from Chopard's "Copacabana" fine jewelry collection and is most special in its setting of 10 teardrop-shaped coloured sapphires, which are connected by curling vines to form a magnificent and complex structure like a "crystal chandelier".

Known as "Pastel-Colored Sapphire," this light-colored sapphire has a bright luster and bright colors, and you can see soft pale pinks, light yellows, light blues, and light purples contrasting with each other. Each gemstone is cut in a more visually crystal clear "Briolette" teardrop shape, polishing the diamond-shaped facets to give the whole piece a three-dimensional feel.

In order to give each gemstone its own space, the entire piece is structured in a "chandelier" structure, with colored sapphires hanging from the ends of the diamond-outlined branches and gently swaying with the wearer's movements. The designer also embellished two rose-cut diamonds between the branches, echoing the "Briolette" teardrop cut.
