Brand profile

Forevermark, part of the De Beers Group, a global diamond authority with more than 120 years of history, was officially launched in 2008. As the first diamond brand of the De Beers Group, Forevermark's diamond center stone is engraved with a unique identification number, ensuring that every diamond is a natural diamond.
Brand history

Cecil Rhodes discovered an 83.5 ct diamond in South Africa during the diamond boom in 1871, and he invested the profits in the purchase of small mines, which he rapidly expanded into an independent company.

In 1888, the company merged with two other diamond mining companies to create the De Beers Group.

In 1947, the De Beers Group adopted "A diamond os forever" as its advertising slogan, which became a classic advertising copy that influenced the world.

After more than a decade of deliberation, Forevermark began trial operations in Hong Kong in 2004.

After four years of trial operation, The De Beers Group officially launched Forevermark in 2008 and established its first markets in Hong Kong, Chinese mainland and Japan.

On February 24, 2008, the 80th Academy Awards took place in Hollywood, with Nicole Kidman wearing the 1,399 ct Forevermark diamond necklace on the red carpet. This necklace consists of 7,645 diamonds, including 5 rough diamonds that have not been polished.

In 2008, Forevermark launched the "Forevermark Setting" series, which advertised that this setting design allowed maximum light to enter, refracting inside the diamond for better fire.

Forevermark claims that when purchasing diamonds, the country of origin of the diamond is assessed to verify "whether it is a member of the Kimberley Process", "whether it has a good human rights history", "whether the political situation and socio-economic forms are sound", etc.
