Brand profile

Founded in 2004 in Paris, France, Qeelin was founded by Hong Kong jewelry designer Dennis Chan and French entrepreneur Guillaume Brochard, opening its first boutique in 2009 at the Palais Royal and headquartered at the company Hong Kong, China, part of the French luxury group Kering.
The brand name "Qeelin" is derived from the Chinese transliteration of the word "Qilin", a mythical beast derived from ancient Chinese mythology and has the symbolic meaning of auspiciousness. Its jewelry collections are also named in special terms with transliterations, such as "Wulu" in the shape of a gourd, "Bo Bo" with a panda theme, and "Yu yi" in the shape of a long-lived lock.

Focusing on traditional Chinese cultural elements, Qeelin presents oriental themes such as "panda", "gourd", "dragon phoenix", "lion dance" and "longevity lock" in jewelry design, while adhering to the concept of "East-West Combination", integrating traditional French handmade jewelry techniques to present contemporary jewelry suitable for daily wear.
