Since the launch of its first watch, the Première, in 1987, Chanel has built its own watch world. Over time, the third pillar of the Chanel family is constantly growing and growing.

Today, CHANEL watches have developed into four series: the classic watch, the "J12" watch, the "Première" watch and the "Mademoiselle Privé" jewellery watch series. Since the establishment of the Watch Studio in 1987, all CHANEL watches have been produced by the CHANEL Watch Factory in La Chaffonne, Swiss Watch Valley.

Chronology of history

19 August 1883 Ms. Gabrielle Chanel was born in the southwestern French town of Saumur
In 1910 Chanel began to be called "Coco" and opened its first hat shop at 21 rue Cambon in Paris, named Chanel Modes.
In 1932 Chanel created her first fine jewelry design collection, Chanel's "Bijoux de Diamants" diamond jewelry exhibition was held in Ms. Chanel's private residence, and the jewelry was no longer an embellishment of her clothing, but a collection of fine jewelry set in platinum and diamonds.
On 10 January 1970, Chanel died in Paris.
1993 Chanel's Fine Jewelry Division was established to launch the first fine jewelry collection.
1997 Inauguration of the CHANEL Headquarters for Watches and Fine Jewelry at 18 Place Vendome.
In 2006 Chanel participated in his first Biennale of Antiques in Paris.
2007 Chanel Fine Jewellery, 18 Place Vendôme, reopened after ten years of renovations.
In 2012, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Gabrielle Chanel's 1932 "Bijoux de Diamants" diamond jewelry collection, CHANEL's "1932" top jewelry collection showcased 80 top jewelry pieces and was launched worldwide at the Beijing Millennium Monument in March 2012.
In 2013, the "Jardin de Camelias" top jewelry collection was released.
